Raschka to supply FBI System for Singapore’s Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility
Guangzhou/Ennetbürgen, Oct. 2022, Raschka to supply Fluidized Bed Sludge Incineration System for Singapore's Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) as part of Singapore Green Plan 2030.
Raschka Engineering has signed the Sludge Incineration Facility (SIF) Technology Package with UES Holdings Pte Ltd (UESH) – China Harbour (Singapore) Engineering Company Pte Ltd (CHEC) Joint Venture for Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) Phase One development, which is Singapore's first integrated solid waste treatment facility, providing an innovative and sustainable solution to meet Singapore's long-term solid waste management needs.
Under the contract, Raschka Engineering will provide engineering, supply, delivery, technical support on installation, testing and commissioning of a 800 tonnes per day Sludge Incineration Facility. Raschka Engineering will provide its FBI (Fluidized Bed Incineration) technology and sludge incineration solutions tailored to the needs of the integrated waste processing facility.
Tuas Nexus is the first of its kind facility that is planned from ground up and designed to harness process synergies between the National Environment Agency (NEA)'s Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) and PUB's Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (Tuas WRP). Tuas Nexus will optimise both energy and resource recovery in solid waste and used water treatment processes while reducing the environmental and carbon footprint.
