Advancing Forward Together
Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur
Sustainability Environment Asia (SEA) Exhibition
With the aim of exploring innovative solutions to improve the environment in ASEAN member countries, the SEA was attended by over 150 companies from 25 different countries and regions. The event focused on key areas such as waste management, recycling and reuse of waste, wastewater management, green technologies and more.
Raschka Engineering, in collaboration with our Southeast Asian representative Novexx Pte Ltd, presented our innovative solutions for hazardous waste incineration as well as our expertise and best practices for project implementation in the region. Throughout the exhibition, we engaged with numerous visitors, including industry experts, potential customers and stakeholders. These conversations were of great value as they provided us with valuable insights into new market trends and requirements. In addition, the fair provided an excellent networking opportunity and allowed us to establish contacts with potential partners for future collaborations.
During the exhibition, Mr Yao Jianjun, Managing Director of Raschka Engineering, took the opportunity to present a portfolio of Raschka's previous successful projects. This presentation not only highlighted our expertise and experience in this field, but also inspired potential customers' confidence in our capabilities and track record. Mr Zhang Sishen, Deputy General Manager of Raschka Engineering, was actively involved in demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our waste incineration solutions to interested customers.

Petroleum and Chemical Industry Green Development Conference 2023 (6th edition)
The 6th Conference on Green Development of Petroleum and Chemical Industry was organised by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and the China Chemical Industry Environmental Protection Association under the theme of "Concentration and Collection of Green Carbon - the Future of Sustainable Development". The event brought together experts and scholars from relevant national authorities, domestic and foreign petrochemical industry enterprises and institutions, research institutes, colleges and universities, and professional organisations, and served as a platform for in-depth discussions and exchanges on the important issue of green and low-carbon development in the petrochemical industry.

During the conference, Mr Zhang Yingjun, Head of Raschka's Incineration Technology Research and Development Department, gave an insightful presentation entitled "Waste Incineration and Resourceful Recycling Technology in the Context of Dual Carbon". In his presentation, Mr Zhang reported on Raschka's latest advances in product research and development and highlighted the innovative approaches and cutting-edge technologies that Raschka is applying in the field of waste treatment and disposal. His presentation stimulated productive dialogues and exchanges among peers, contributing to the collective knowledge and understanding of related technologies in the industry.

High chlorine waste incineration and resourceful recycling technology
The High Chlorine Waste Incineration and Resourceful Recycling ("HCWI&RR") technology was developed to effectively treat waste with a high chlorine content. The process involves incinerating the waste at a minimum temperature of 1,200°C. To facilitate the conversion of the chlorine into hydrogen chloride, protonated fuels, such as diesel oil, are burnt at the same time. The presence of these fuels ensures a sufficient supply of hydrogen atoms for the chemical reaction. In this way, the organic chlorine compounds in the waste are thoroughly oxidized and converted into inorganic hydrogen chloride gas at the high temperatures reached during incineration.
With HCWI&RR technology, effective measures are taken to prevent chlorine corrosion, both at high and low temperatures that occur during the combustion process. These measures ensure the safe recovery of flue gas waste heat. The recovered heat can be used for heating purposes in production. The recovered heat is then used to heat production or can alternatively be converted into electricity, which significantly increases the company's efficiency.
In addition, the HCWI&RR technology also includes a countercurrent spray absorption process to remove the hydrogen chloride present in the flue gas. In this process, a liquid solution, e.g. water or sodium hydroxide, is sprayed against the direction of flow of the flue gas. This absorbs the hydrogen chloride in the flue gas, resulting in the formation of hydrochloric acid or a sodium chloride solution. The hydrochloric acid produced can be processed into a commercially usable product through concentration and refining processes. This refined hydrochloric acid can be used in various branches of industry. On the other hand, the sodium chloride solution obtained from the absorption process can be used as a raw material for the production of caustic soda by refining processes with ionic membranes.
Used Salt Incineration and Resource Recycling Technology
The Raschka used salt incineration technology is designed to reduce the total organic carbon (TOC) content of the waste as much as possible.
Another notable aspect of Raschka's used salt incineration technology is the use of special techniques tailored to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries to decolorize and separate the salt, ensuring that the resulting salt product meets stringent resource utilization requirements. This is a key benefit as it enables the production of high quality salt that meets the resource utilization requirements of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This not only ensures the suitability of the salt for various applications, but also supports the sustainable use of resources in these industries.
At Raschka Engineering, we recognize the vital role that effective waste recycling plays in curbing pollution, reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable development. As an environmental technology provider, we are committed to advancing research and development in waste incineration and resource-efficient recycling technology and promoting the application of these technologies in various industries. By working with owners and stakeholders, we aim to drive positive change in waste management and resource recycling and contribute to global efforts towards a sustainable and low-carbon future.
